Want the decorative look of a wooden curtain pole with the functionality of a curtain track? The Jones Sencillo combines a flat-faced track profile with a crafted wooden front panel and satin silver end caps. It is a made-to-measure option for customers who want their curtain fitting to complement the room rather than disappear into the background.
This guide explains the main choices before you shop the Jones Sencillo curtain track range.
What makes Sencillo different?
Sencillo is a decorative track system with the style of a handcrafted wooden curtain pole. Curtains run on gliders, while the wooden front panel provides the visible finish. The range includes wall-fix and ceiling-fix options, so choose the mounting method that suits your installation.
Hand-drawn or cord-drawn: which should you choose?
Hand-drawn Sencillo: choose this option if you prefer to move the curtains by hand. The product listings checked offer lengths up to 4.8 metres, with standard gliders or 80mm linked Wave-effect gliders.
Cord-drawn Sencillo: choose this option if you prefer to operate your curtains using a cord. The corded product listing checked offers made-to-measure lengths up to 3.6 metres and standard gliders. It includes a cord tensioner. Follow the supplied installation and operating instructions.
Check the exact product and selected options before ordering, as the gliders, length and fittings need to match your chosen system.
Can Sencillo be used with Wave-style curtains?
Hand-drawn Sencillo listings include an 80mm linked Wave-effect glider option. These linked gliders are calculated to suit the track length ordered. Before selecting them, confirm that your curtain heading and curtain-making specification are compatible with that system. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering rather than assuming standard and Wave-effect gliders are interchangeable.
Sizes and made-to-measure ordering
The hand-drawn listings checked offer lengths up to 480cm, while the cord-drawn listing checked offers lengths up to 360cm. State the exact size you require when placing your order and confirm how the finished size should be measured before submitting it.
These are made-to-measure/order products. Check the current product information and terms before ordering. Plan your fitting date around the stated preparation and delivery times on your chosen product page.
Wall fixing or ceiling fixing?
Both mounting choices are listed in the range. Select wall-fix brackets for a wall-mounted installation or ceiling-fix brackets for ceiling mounting. Check the available space, fixing surface and curtain position before deciding. Suitable fixings and installation depend on your wall or ceiling, so seek fitting advice if you are unsure.
Finishes and custom colours
Sencillo has a crafted wooden front panel, with finishes available across the range. The product descriptions also offer custom-colour options by quotation. If you want to coordinate the track with a particular paint colour, contact us to discuss the finish and price before placing your order.
What is included?
The product listings checked describe satin silver end caps and the selected wall- or ceiling-fix brackets. Hand-drawn options include the selected glider system; the cord-drawn option includes standard gliders and a cord tensioner. Review your chosen product's specification for the exact contents and bracket quantities for your length.
